Laurie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management from SUNY at Plattsburgh, Plattsburgh, New York.
She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Florida. Prior to establishing Laurie A. Sloat, C.P.A., P.A., Laurie was employed by the law firm of Grant, Fridkin, Pearson, Athan & Crown, P.A. in Naples, Florida in the Trusts and Estates Department.
Laurie’s expertise includes, but is not limited to, providing personal financial and accounting services; coordinating the work efforts of other professionals, such as trust and estate attorneys, bankers, investment advisors, Certified Public Accountants, and insurance agents; managing and accounting for cash flow; compiling financial data for income and gift tax return preparation; and performing financial analysis and planning as it relates to divorce. These services are intended to help clients maintain their desired lifestyle and financial independence.
Laurie and her husband, Steve, reside in Estero. They have two sons, Steven and Christopher. Laurie has coached youth soccer for several years and has participated on the San Carlos Park Scorpion Soccer Club Board of Directors.
